2008 SCHOLARSHIPS >>> All applications for the THSA Scholarships must be mailed to the THSA Scholarship Committee and postmarked no later than May 16, 2008. There are several scholarship awards available. Do you or someone you know qualify? RUSS-GLOVER SCHOLARSHIP $3,000 (Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to a Head Start/EHS Administrative Staff Member)   HELEN R. WRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP $3,000 (Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to a Head Start/EHS Support Staff Member)   KENNETH R. GILBERT SCHOLARSHIP $3,000 (Two $1,500 scholarships will be awarded to a Head Start/EHS Site/Center Management Staff Member) 2008 AWARDS >>> Awards are also given each year to outstanding Texas Head Start parents. Be sure to apply or nominate an active parent volunteer today. The Presidential Achievement Award is offered to an exceptional past or present Texas Head Start parent or staff member. All applications must be received no later than 5:00pm, Friday, May 16th, 2008.
