Description of the A 360° Path
The 2026 Head Start Summer Conference will take place from June 23–25, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas, bringing together leaders and advocates for a transformative experience. The theme “Whole Program. Whole Community. Whole Child: A 360° Path to Head Start Excellence” underscores the importance of system harmony in achieving Head Start excellence.
Participants will engage in dynamic plenary sessions and workshops focusing on child development, family engagement, program management, and community partnerships. The conference will address emerging trends, policy shifts, and workforce challenges, and highlight the importance of community involvement and compassionate service.
The event will conclude with a closing plenary session to launch the 2026 Smooth Entry Texas initiative, which aims to equip programs with the tools needed for full enrollment.
