The Texas Head Start Association (TXHSA), established in 1985, is a trusted nonprofit membership organization committed to advancing early childhood education and comprehensive services for infants, toddlers, and families served by Head Start (HS), Early Head Start (EHS), Migrant/Seasonal, and Native American programs.
As a statewide leader and vital resource, TXHSA provides training, technical assistance, and essential tools that strengthen program quality and support high-impact service delivery. With a network of more than 180 member programs, the association proudly advocates for over 80,000 children across Texas, championing excellence, equity, and opportunity for every family.
